From the President's Desk:

Greetings to all. You are probably used to seeing some words from ANACS President James Taylor here. In his last letter printed in this space, you may recall that Mr. Taylor had made a resolution to do a better job in delegating his duties here. Well, I am pleased to let you know that the fact that I am writing this is evidence that he is enjoying some success at fulfilling this resolution.

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Paul DeFelice, and my title is Vice President of Customer Relations and Marketing. That title is a mouthful, and I prefer to be known as that guy you met at a show, or the guy that you talked to on the phone when you called ANACS. In fact, if you have conducted any business at all with us over the last few years, you are likely to have talked to me.

Speaking of coin shows, we are participating in our usual large slate of shows across the country this year. We were excited to see good crowds at both the F.U.N. show in January and the Long Beach show in February. Check out our Coin Show Calendar for the full list of shows we’ll be attending this year.

Personally, I am especially looking forward to this summer’s annual ANA World’s Fair Of Money. Not only will Boston be an amazing setting for what is always a fantastic show, it is also my hometown. There is nothing like working at a great show all day, and then spending the evening with my family in the house I grew up in! Unfortunately, my beloved Red Sox are on a road trip that same week, so I’ll have to settle for watching the games on TV with my father. Not too bad.

Like I said, I think many of you know me, and I hope to meet and talk to many more of you in the coming months. I encourage you to drop me a line if there is anything I can help you with at all.
